New Horizons Counseling Center

New Horizons Counseling Center is an incorporated, nonprofit community counseling center. We assist people of all ages and walks of life, as they go through changes, growth and crises. Our services are provided by a staff of professionals, who are trained in their specialized fields to a minimum of a Masters Degree. They are all members of a professional organization and licensed by the Board of Behavioral Sciences, which both regulate their ethical standards and moral behavior. Above all they are deeply caring and committed persons. Confidentiality, safety and trust are carefully guarded for all of our clients.

New Horizons was established by the American River Community Church, as a mission to the community, open to people of all faiths.

Fee Structure
As we are a nonprofit organization, our fees often fall much lower than profit-oriented counseling centers. Our fees are figured on a sliding scale, depending on a person's income and number of dependents. To make this all possible, the staff works many volunteer hours. We do take private insurance; however, we are not able to take Medi-Cal or Medi-Care.
