"Access" - College and Career Ministries
"Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand." (Romans 5:1-2a)
It seems that the generations represented in our late teens through the thirties have access to everything BUT God! Well the Access Ministry (college and early career, or "young adult" group) doesn’t believe that this has to be true, so we come together on Sunday mornings, for special events, and pretty much whenever we feel like it, to enjoy one another and to encourage one another to stay "logged in" to God.
- "Sunday mornings": We get together in room C 3 during the “Sunday School” hour (10:05-10:55) to catch up and have a little time in the Good Book.
- "Special events": Every couple of months we do something like go to a concert or participate in a community service project. Make sure you click on Church Calendar to see when the next event is.
- "Whenever we feel like it": Hey, we are young baby! We like to hang out and do whatever. So don’t be shy! Get to know people, snag phone numbers and e-mails, invite people to do stuff with you. Also coming soon to this website is "Unrehearsed" (see "Interactive"), a tool for posting or finding out when more spontaneous stuff is happening.
